Smaller, privately owned campgrounds have the flexibility to reopen depending on the status of the county they are located in and some might reopen faster than state or federal campgrounds. Be sure to call the private campground you plan to visit at least few days prior to ensure they are still open.
Reservations could be needed, so call as far in advance as you can. Current conditions are parks, campgrounds, and other road trip attractions are always changing. Be sure to double check the weather, road conditions, and COVID closures prior to hitting the road.

Dump stations are located at Potwisha, Lodgepole, and Dorst Creek campgrounds. Dump stations at Lodgepole, Dorst Creek, and Princess campgrounds are only available during the summer months.
Campfires and Firewood. In summer, fire restrictions may be in effect if conditions are dry, even at higher-elevation campgrounds. When fire danger is very high, wood and charcoal fires including campfires in fire rings and wood-burning stoves may be prohibited. Check current fire restrictions online or at park bulletin boards before you camp.
