Assuming "the feeble lists" refer to the sick and the dead, America and Italy Lombardy is a region in the north of the country are in the top three most infected countries so far, along with Spain.
Mercury entered Sagittarius in December , which is when the first cases of coronavirus occurred, and Saturn moved into Aquarius on March 21, right as New York City was going into lockdown. As for the fire in the ship, multiple cruise liners have become stranded at sea during this crisis due to coronavirus emergencies on board.
This includes the Grand Princess , which docked in Oakland on March 9 with 21 confirmed coronavirus cases on board. All of which suggests that Nostradamus did see this coming after all.

Another quatrain of possible significance mentions fighting 'close by the Hister' — which is either a loose reference to Hitler, or a more mundane mention of the old name of the Danube river.
Depending on your point of view. The quatrain paints an increasingly bleak picture, foretelling 'famine within plague' potentially a reference to radiation sickness and the lasting disruption of war and 'people put out by steel', which may point to the planes which dropped the bombs.
Of course, this may well have been Nostradamus talking about a literal plague affecting any potential cities, given that the man himself had first hand experience of treating plague patients. But, again, it depends on how much you really want to believe. The killing of President John F.
