How long is the betrayal pll

A lot went down in season 1 of Pretty Little Liars , and right away, viewers learned that Aria's family wasn't as happy as they appeared. Aria's father Byron cheated on her mother Ella with Meredith, a young teacher at Hollis, and this was the ultimate betrayal that a family could go through. Aria grappled with it for quite some time and at first, it was a secret that only she knew about.

Though Ella did eventually find out and the impact wasn't felt for the entire series, it was still powerful. Spencer was a good friend to everyone and that's why it was so shocking that she would even think that she could date Caleb, Hanna's ex-boyfriend and the person who fans knew she would end up with. Spencer realized that she loved Caleb, even though he was probably the last person she should date, and she went with her heart.

Ultimately, though, this wasn't the world's biggest betrayal because Hanna said it was alright if they started a relationship. In the final season, Aria joined A. Some fans wanted Aria to be A. Aria was a big help to this mysterious figure and got a lot of information for them. She also did A. This was a huge betrayal as Aria was supposed to be on her friends' side, not against them. She ended up doing all of this to help Ezra, but it still seemed like a terrible way to act.

Ali became a mother but she got pregnant in a disturbing way: A took the eggs that Emily donated and literally implanted them in Ali's body. This was a massive betrayal of trust on so many levels and not the way that Ali thought she would start her family. In the end, though, Ali loved her babies and was thrilled to start her new life with Emily by her side. Toby became an A-Team member to help protect Spencer and the other main characters. Even though he said that he had a good reason to do so, he still joined a horrible group of people, and it was hard for fans to wrap their heads around this revelation.

If she was on I would've ranked it this way. SkylaMereh wrote: Ezra, he used them even after he fell in love. Ezra by far although I like Ezria and him. He was playing Aria from the moment they met until the moment Aria found out about the book. The first time they met was fake, it was staged by him. I can't decide whether Toby or Caleb should be second though. Caleb betrayed Hanna for abt 10 episodes I want to say, whereas Toby "betrayed" Spencer and tricked her into thinking he was dead, but all of that was really only to protect her.

This betrayal is in such a large scale that she acts out—and rightfully so! Spencer has already been through a betrayal of this magnitude before. Will Aria lean on Spencer and the other girls order to cope with this news? She will to some degree, but the problem is that Spencer has her own problems and her own troubles going on.

If only Spencer was available to lean on. If Aria were to lean on her too hard, Spencer would crash to the ground and they'd both fall six feet under. So no, Spencer is not someone she can lean on at this point. Once we got picked up for a second season, we really came back with a lot of outrageous Blue Sky ideas, as we call it, and this has been floating up there since then.

We had many different things up there, including the notion of Ezra being A, but it was the question of how to pace it out and how to make it feel organic. So, I would say it was in the ether, and it was already out there, but it wasn't always fully defined. Why did Ezra choose to have this relationship with Aria? Why not Hanna or Spencer? I think honestly that was serendipitous because of that bar. I feel like Aria walked in there in the pilot and he was already sitting.

We didn't really talk about how he honed into Aria or why he chose her, I think there was a mutual attraction. I think he was already ambitious and wanted to do something about Ali because a year had passed and she was missing.

He thought this would be his big book that would break him into the business, into the publishing world. It was too wonderful of an opportunity not to write about it before he met Aria. But even then, as we've sort of hinted, Ezra's past with Alison makes him still have some conscience about this and how he wants this to be exposed.

Was Ezra obsessed with Ali? I think he was obsessed because the girl is an enchantress. This girl, Alison, has been mythic to us for 95 episodes and what's interesting in this next season is she's going to become very flesh and blood.

Before, she had a very big mythology to her because she's always been seen through everyone else's eyes. And I think in Ezra's eyes as well, she's gained mythic proportions because of her disappearance. I think he knew already that she was a crafty girl, who was capable of incredible lies and was incredibly precocious. He wondered if it was possible that she could've pulled this off?
