If you not willing to spend at least on Prayer, I would advise to not use this method because reanimation of Ensouled Heads provides very good XP rates in comparison to these and it is way cheaper.
Onto the method for the Gilded Altar , the best place to train is at the Rimmington Portal. You will need to bring noted bones and coins to World , find a house , and then you can use approximately bones on a Gilded Altar per hour doing to base training method, depending how focused you are.
